We had lunch at L'Océan today. We left delighted. Friendly welcome, delicious and generous portions, exceptional setting. I highly recommend it.

Today we visited this restaurant and ordered a coffee and a Viennese chocolate. The waiter who took our order brought our drinks a minute later and placed them in the wrong hands. Both drinks came with a straw, but no spoon. Not very thoughtful. The staff was rather unfriendly. However, the view of the sea is fantastic.

We were looking for a place to have seafood lunch overlooking the beach and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the food we ordered. Arriving without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated at a table with a view! The 12 oysters were fresh, and the mussels (marinière/maroilles) were generously portioned. All the dishes were delicious. Despite the rather high prices, overall a positive experience (out of season)!

There was a bit of a wait upon arrival, but we saw the aperitif in the meantime. The wine list was satisfactory, and the service was quite variable (the female staff were lovely, the male staff sometimes not very welcoming). Special mention to the creamy garlic mussels with three heads of garlic per pot – that's what we love!

We were a group of 14 and had a wide selection of dishes to choose from—a real treat! 😋 Special mention to the staff, who were absolutely fantastic: professional, friendly, and with a great team spirit. 👏 We were a little chilly, and they spontaneously offered to turn on the heating—a very kind gesture!
The location is ideal, with a beautiful view and easy parking. 🚗 We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

As an appetizer: 3 homemade Americanos, great!!!! (a huge portion)
accompanied by a charcuterie board, more than enough for 3 adults and 2 children
It's the season: Scallops on a bed of candied leeks, perfectly cooked!!!
Desserts: Rum Baba, crème brûlée, blackcurrant sorbet

We enjoyed a beer and a beer in wonderful weather. We got a few peanuts with our second glass of wine. The food at the other tables looked wonderful. It's a decent place to be.
