Une vraie brasserie avec un vrai look de brasserie, un grand choix, ouverte assez longtemps juste devant la cathédrale. Les plats étaient très bons et certains assez rares comme la tête de veau. L’été il y a énormément de roulement, les serveurs.es font ce qu’ils.elles peuvent pour servir rapidement mais il ne faudra pas être trop pressé ni avoir envie de prendre juste un café.

Prices are normal, the dishes are not exceptional but not to be labeled negatively either, let's say they could go without great expectations. We stopped at this place because Rouen seemed like a deserted city with no businesses open and it was only 9pm. I don't know why...maybe everything is silent in this city on Mondays?

We really liked this place! I advise you to book There is a terrace to have a drink The prices are quite affordable, very good value for money. There are also vegetarian and children's menu options. I had the dish of the day, excellent! On the other hand, the pastry ice cream sundae was meh, the only downside.

What a shame nice brasserie, however on the terrace from 5 p.m. it's impossible to have a drink!! Customer on the terrace...not accepted due to "setting the table" for the evening. Maybe see again.

Au Carreau des Halles

24/06/2024: Very warm welcome, perfect, fast and attentive service. Delicious dishes. Lots of customers so a little noisy but we could have a conversation. I recommend and we will come back
22/06/2024: We found this restaurant when cycling past along the Seine and looking for somewhere to have lunch on a Sunday. Appears to be in the middle of an industrial estate but it is the location of out of town market. When we went there it was very busy with locals, it had pleasant outdoor seating area and food and service were very good.

26/09/2024: There is nothing negative to report about this location! Excellent location, clean, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. And all that for a reasonable price.
24/09/2024: A hotel to sleep, clean, quiet, tasty breakfast, parking for cars ok, a total nightmare for buses
