The hotel is in the middle of Bayeux. It's very clean and the rooms are decorated nicely. It's in an old building that has been remodeled with good workmanship. I worked the building trades so I notice details and this was quality work. The staff was 100 % helpful and accommodating. I don't speak much French, but the staff will kindly help you in English. I stayed for two days. I ate the smoked duck breast salad, oysters on the half shell, scallops with risotto, and of course the french onion soup. All that and mourning buffet were wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. They also have a full bar

The hotel is well located, next to the cathedral. It doesn't have its own parking, but there's a free public parking lot a 6-7 minute walk away. The welcome was very warm, and the bar area had a pleasant atmosphere.
The rooms are well-decorated, well-equipped, clean, and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. There's a coffee/tea maker in the room.
The breakfast is also very good, with a good selection.
All this for a very reasonable price; in short, we'll be back.
