Brasserie Reine Mathilde sur Bayeux

17/10/2024: ¡No podíamos irnos de Normandía sin comer un crepé! Esta crepería se encuentra en un hermoso edificio de piedra adyacente a la catedral. Tenía un dulce crepé, y estaba bastante bueno. La única cosa que diría es que la cantidad de crema y chocolate en el crepé estaba casi por encima de la parte superior - mis arterias no me dan las gracias por comerlo!

11/08/2024: Came here twice in April with friends, so had to return this time with family. We came twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. My review covers all 4 visits. This restaurant is located behind the cathedral, and has an excellent view of the building. The staff are extremely cheerful, friendly and helpful. Even on a cold April evening this place fills up very quickly, and people queue to eat. Booking is essential unless you arrive as it opens. All the food options have been excellent, galettes, burgers, steaks, pizza's, everything is perfectly cooked, full of natural ingredients and a lot of them! Value for money is exceptional, twice 5 ate a two course meal with drinks for under £100. This is a hidden secret in Bayeux, but has to be enjoyed. We'll return again next visit and try more dishes. The waitresses and owner are some of the most cheerful people I have ever met in a French restaurant!
