Perfect location with simple but clean room and very attentive and friendly staff. Restaurant associated with the hotel was wonderful. Thank you for a great stay.

The Hotel Reine Mathilde was perfect for our stay in Bayeux. The rooms were large and comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 3 nights.
Small but comfortable room.
Great location across from the church and a couple of minutes walk to the pickup point for the tours.
Quite reasonably priced.
We did not try the breakfast or the restaurant.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is right across from the beautiful Cathedral in town. Room are small, but very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. However, be prepared to carry luggage up the narrow stairs!

The hotel is in the middle of Bayeux. It's very clean and the rooms are decorated nicely. It's in an old building that has been remodeled with good workmanship. I worked the building trades so I notice details and this was quality work. The staff was 100 % helpful and accommodating. I don't speak much French, but the staff will kindly help you in English. I stayed for two days. I ate the smoked duck breast salad, oysters on the half shell, scallops with risotto, and of course the french onion soup. All that and mourning buffet were wonderful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. They also have a full bar

The hotel is well located, next to the cathedral. It doesn't have its own parking, but there's a free public parking lot a 6-7 minute walk away. The welcome was very warm, and the bar area had a pleasant atmosphere.
The rooms are well-decorated, well-equipped, clean, and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. There's a coffee/tea maker in the room.
The breakfast is also very good, with a good selection.
All this for a very reasonable price; in short, we'll be back.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting this level of quality.
The room was charming, just like any other 3 or even 4-star hotel.
