Brioche Dorée sur Bouguenais

What a pleasure to finally find a bakery open on a public holiday! After a long journey, starving in the sweltering heat, I chose this establishment for a bite to eat. A coffee and a pastry—nothing appealed to me more, so I placed my order. The welcome was warm and charming, promising a pleasant experience. However, my first disappointment came when the waitress asked me what size I wanted my Americano. I didn't know that Americanos could come in different sizes, so, risking it being so weak I'd have to lie flat on my stomach, I opted for the medium size, along with a pain au chocolat. The result: a weak coffee because it was too weak, and an undercooked pastry. I then ordered the small size, or even the double espresso, as it was cheaper than the large Americano. Disappointing, given my expectations for this establishment, but ultimately not so disastrous considering its location. Worth a visit if you're in the area, but don't make the trip just for that.

This is a fantastic idea for using glasses to serve coffee in this establishment, and Duralex glasses no less! Well done! 👏

I was disappointed with our visit last week. Our coffees and pastries, which we had there, were good, although a bit pricey (airport prices). We're regulars at Brioche Dorée, and being a fan of their coconut flan, I ordered one to go. When I left, I checked the contents of the box and realized they'd given us a plain flan instead. So we turned around to point it out. We were greeted by a woman in her fifties who didn't say hello, sighed, then took the box from us before throwing the plain flan in the bin and replacing it with a coconut one. The exchange was rushed and rather unfriendly, and above all, what a waste… I didn't understand why the plain flan was thrown away instead of simply being given to us. I don't know if this is the store's policy, but I find it a shame, especially given the current focus on raising awareness about food waste. On the other hand, the young man who took our order, even though he made a mistake, was very friendly.

Served by Estelle while waiting to board, Estelle manages her kiosk and customers with a master's touch! She's alone all day, yet she serves her delicious coffees and pastries with a smile and efficiency! Thank you to her (a customer who came back 4 times for espressos and water ;) )

I had a few coffees and teas there. The prices were reasonable, however, it's often better value to get the "drink + pastry" deals. The service was always very professional. Never had a problem. Ideal while waiting for a flight. The only downside is the limited seating during busy times.

I'm not a fussy guy; at 5 a.m., after only two hours of sleep, a comfortable sofa, a coffee, a croissant, and a power outlet are all I need. Great service from Neyla! She specifically asked me to leave a good review, but it's well-deserved.
