Arriving in Bressuire on a Thursday evening for one night, we stumbled upon this bar, a very pleasant surprise. The owner gave good advice and had a wide selection of alcohol (especially gin 😉). A festive and authentic atmosphere. I recommend it.

Clement and his colleague gave us a super welcome, the bar is really cool. Plenty of snacks and board games. Scarface and Aston are very friendly.

Passing through, we found THE bar we'd spotted online that was perfect for us! The service was welcoming, warm, and friendly. A lovely terrace, good beers, and great advice for visiting Puy du Fou. I highly recommend it.

Au Bistrot Gourmand

09/10/2026: Unimpressed. Friend had been there before and said it was better. Staff are friendly and efficient but the food is just ok, not particularly generous and not presented very nicely.
