Excellent dishes. Very well received. Very friendly staff. All the meats are cooked under the large fireplace, we enjoy it! Delicious homemade fries. Very good value for money. Remember to book. I recommend !!!

A cult place in the city center of Angoulême, with simple and effective values, you feel at home. The welcome is great, the staff is super pleasant, the dishes are excellent and the meat is excellent, we enjoy ourselves and have a good time. Remember to book. I recommend with your eyes closed.

Good restaurant overall, prime rib a little expensive and "thin" for a weight on the menu of around 1 kilo announced. 70€ and not 60 as advertised on the menu available on Facebook. Charcuterie platter a little sparse for the price too.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Still so good! A treat even if certain products (blocked by farmers' demonstrations) were not available. No reservations during the BD festival but several services. Attentive staff, service without downtime, a delicious Camembert cooked in ashes, an excellent old Pineau Blanc! And meat cooked over rare or medium-rare embers! Light light chocolate mousse! Perfect, we'll come back! Go for it !

Very good meal very good meat nothing to complain about the kitchen just lack of space too close to the neighbors but hey it's not the fault of the restaurateur but of the place which is not big Wood-fired cuisine and great fresh, local produce

Excellent place in Angouleme to try different grilled dishes! I always recommend and repeat the 1kg steak and the Camembert cooked in ashes (for 2 people). Price €40/person approx.

La viande de boeuf est de très bonne qualité et cuite selon la demande. Le personnel est très souriant et aimable. Avons passé une très bonne soirée.
