30/04/2026: Still one of my favourite places in town. A wonderful menu with excellent execution. It is beautiful, creative, and delicious. The service is perfect and I also enjoy the interaction with the chef. I wish the room was a bit more charming and offers something maybe a tad less classic.
13/04/2026: I asked myself the following question: how can a two-Michelin-starred restaurant have a 4.4 rating?
Today I understand, because it's a bit disappointing, especially considering the price!
Regardless of the menu chosen, I must say that the decor, tableware, and service are all excellent, but the food didn't leave a lasting impression. I'm not questioning the quality at all.
The amuse-bouches are very good and original. Since the menu items are unknown, I figure I wasn't there to eat a celery flower as a starter. First surprise!
The fish dish is good, but the mashed potatoes arrive already lukewarm on the plate.
As for dessert, it's an entremets, a mini timbale of floating islands! One expects better and something a bit more original!
We finished with a few tiny petit fours, such as two mini watercress marshmallows. Even though everything is beautifully presented, one still expects a nice sweet note to end the meal.
I'm used to dining at fine restaurants, and I must admit that "the grand restaurant" is grand in name only, in my opinion. While the presentation is lovely, it's true that it's very rare to find such basic dishes (celery, floating islands) in a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, and it's unforgettable…
In conclusion: I'll remember it, but I won't be going back. I regret it, but that's the way it is!
