Burger Killer sur Marseille

A very nice time, original burgers, a friendly welcome and smiling and kind waitresses.

Got a burger + chicken for take out. Fast service and the food was pretty good for the price. Bonus points for leaving a nice message on the bag!

Excellent burger and homemade fries. Very welcoming, clean restaurant on a quiet street away from traffic. I recommend it 👍🏻

The atmosphere was very pleasant and honestly, the food was very good. The prices are quite high if you add a drink and fries, but they remain reasonable considering it's homemade. It's a shame there were a few people at the table who were still hungry when they left.

Very good burger, small and overpriced, but the meat and the bun are really good. The fries are a bit terrible, I admit. Meh +

By far the best burger I've ever had. I hope to go back to Marseille and eat at Howards again.

The portions are incredibly generous; you really feel like you're getting your money's worth. All the sauces are homemade, as is the fried chicken, cooked fresh to order. The baby potatoes are an excellent side dish. As a huge fan of fried chicken, I give this one a 100% thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking for a great fried chicken dish in Marseille.

Honestly? I've been to Marseille several times and I come here. Positive points: - THE BURGERS, HONEY CHICKEN, AND CHEESECAKE ARE INCREDIBLE!!! The fries are great too; honestly, the food is top-notch!!! - The staff brings a glass and a pitcher of water. Negative points: (there are quite a few) - Price (quite high) - Service (at lunchtime, it took over 30 minutes to serve me; it was my second time there and it was the same!) - The staff (some walk past us and go behind the stairs, wearing gloves and the same kitchen clothes they just got off, not very hygienic) - Restrooms (well, nice, it's very Instagrammable, but you can't see anything and it doesn't look that clean, especially since it's less than a meter from the kitchen, and I don't understand the connection with the dining room?) Also, I said to a staff member, "Be careful, I don't think I got my receipt; there's no more ink in the receipt machine," because I got a blank receipt. He replied, "I'll do it." "Do you want a ticket?" I replied, "No, thank you." Five minutes later, other customers didn't have their tickets because he hadn't changed the ink dispenser. Otherwise, the food was fine, but the service and everything else needs improvement, in my opinion.

I'm kindof over the whole "nameless, faceless, order at the screen" concept. I realize even McDonald's has gone that route... (and this place is VERY popular with teenagers and children), but when you're paying premium prices you expect a premium... something. Howard fails to deliver there. 11 euros gets you a cheeseburger accompanied by... well it just gets you the cheeseburger. No fries, no drink, no nothing. And it's not quite enough to get you any lettuce... or a tomato. You get ketchup, mustard, and a pickle. (If... like me... you don't like onions). It's France... so donto the Declaration of the Rights of Man... you get free water. But the fun stops there. A small fry will cost you 3 euros. So will a cookie. A milkshake will cost you 8. If you haven't been keeping score: 22€ will get you about as much food as a cheeseburger Happy Meal from McDonald's (admittedly with a slightly better burger). Definitely not a culinary evolution. Just a new coat of paint on a Ray Croc classic. Yet... if you'd gone to McDonald's... you'd have been full.
