A small and charming venue. The wine and alcohol selection is extensive. The garden out front provides a lovely spot to watch the river and the flow of life. It's a good choice if you're looking for a pleasant afternoon with delicious snacks and wine.
I stumbled upon this bar by chance. Coming from Strasbourg to Lyon for work, I was looking for a place with a friendly owner and a loyal clientele—the kind of typical spot where you like to have a glass of wine after work, or a glass on Saturday morning after the market.
And there I found Olivier and his bar: a wide and unpretentious wine list, a warm welcome, and that simple, genuine atmosphere that makes you want to come back.
An unpretentious but authentic place, the kind you find less and less often—just like France and our cities that we love to defend.
I'm not just trying to give an opinion or share a good address, but to pay tribute to a part of our culture, to those human stories that, each in their own way, write the history of our country and our cities.
Always a pleasure to spend time there on Sundays with a drink. 😃
