Siamo stati al Cabane sia in spiaggia che a pranzo, posto bellissimo con personale simpatico ed accogliente. Al ristorante abbiamo mangiato bene, spettacolare il purè al tartufo ! Prezzi adeguati a Pampelonne ma non esosi.
We went in a group of six for lunch to Cabane Bambou on Pampleonne a few days ago.
We had the usual warm welcome from Edgar and the crew. We were taken to our table, which had a wonderful view of the sea. We ordered a couple of magnums of Domaine des Campaux, which is owned by the Naveau family. The fabulous food and wine were served by a charming and fun waitress.
Gentle music was playing in the background, and the decor is tastefully different from many other restaurants on the beach. The tables are well spaced, so you don't feel crammed in, which again is in contrast to some of the other venues.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sea bass for four taken deftly off the bone by Edgar. The mango and prawn salad was fresh, generous, and excellent. My favourite is the house desert, the pomme crepe caramélisé avec une boule de glace vanille. See photo.
When taking house guests, you hope for a great experience, and Cabane Bambou never fails to deliver the best combination of food, wine, service and ambience on the beach. Thanks to all the team!!!
