All the dishes were very good, generous, and perfectly presented. The service was very quick and efficient. Our waitress was particularly pleasant, smiling, and professional throughout the meal. We have absolutely no complaints; we had a wonderful time. We will gladly return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

30/06/2026: Stopping in for a sunset dinner with my wife, what a pleasant surprise! The prices were reasonable, the service impeccable, from the manager to the valet, and everyone in between, who were fantastic throughout the evening. As for the food, nothing to complain about: every dish was excellent and perfectly executed. This is a place that has stood the test of time in Saint-Tropez, and it's easy to see why. Thank you for this wonderful experience, it was fantastic! We will gladly return.

12/07/2026: We were expecting a special culinary experience due to the prices, but unfortunately, what we got was something that didn't live up to our high expectations. First, the positives: The appetizer was truly excellent and whetted our appetites. Visually, the dishes were also beautifully presented and gave a high-quality impression. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the presentation. The Simmental steak, priced at €41, was explicitly ordered medium, but arrived almost rare: completely bloody inside and unpleasantly tough. At this price, the cooking should simply be correct. The gnocchi with burrata, priced at €36, were also disappointing. The portion was very small, the gnocchi mushy, and the whole thing was accompanied by a very basic tomato sauce that lacked any finesse. The linguine with langoustines, priced at €39, also failed to impress us. The langoustines were awkward to eat, and the cream sauce was extremely bland – nothing to justify the price. You can easily make a sauce like this at home. Overall, the food wasn't bad; it was certainly edible. However, for a restaurant in this price range, we expect significantly more. Beautifully presented plates alone aren't enough if the taste, preparation, and value for money don't match up. Ultimately, the impression remains that very high prices are being charged for comparatively little culinary effort. After the truly excellent appetizer, we had high expectations, which the main courses unfortunately failed to meet. It's a shame, because the potential is definitely there.

22/06/2026: The food was very good and plentiful. The truffle spaghetti was superb, and they certainly didn't skimp on the truffles. The owner was very attentive and friendly. It's located three streets away from the promenade. Outdoor seating is in a narrow alley.

08/06/2026: The welcome and service exceeded our expectations! The pasta alle vongole and the pizza of the day were excellent, as was the homemade tiramisu. All this at a very reasonable price for Saint-Tropez. A great place!

04/04/2026: A pleasant snack concept, but unfortunately, a minimalistic amount of filling was used in the crepes, so you are basically eating slightly flavored dough. A pity.

18/07/2026: A very good restaurant with a fairly varied menu; the dishes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is pleasant and helpful. However, the restaurant is quite far from the city center (about a twenty-minute walk). But the friendly, family atmosphere more than made up for it!

04/05/2026: Whenever we come to Saint-Tropez, we always have an aperitif at Le Sub, and have for a very long time! We've never been disappointed because we love this very authentic place, far removed from the glitz and glamour of Saint-Tropez. The welcome is always very friendly, and this time again we appreciated the special attention the manager gave us by finding us a lovely table near the terrace. These gestures, even if simple, always make a difference. Thank you for this wonderful time in this place steeped in history!

16/06/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We chose this restaurant after being approached by a waiter who touted a "large chicken and bacon Caesar salad" for €20, presented as being substantial enough to be a meal in itself. In the end, we received a very disappointing salad: two thin slices of bland, tasteless, boiled chicken, a few cherry tomatoes, some parmesan shavings, no dressing, and… no bacon, contrary to what had been advertised. When we pointed out this error, the waiter curtly replied that he no longer served Caesar salad at that time. This was an unprofessional and inappropriate remark, especially since he was the one who had invited us to sit down. Bland food and an unpleasant welcome: an experience we will not repeat.

09/06/2026: We had a lovely lunch at Marcellino in Saint-Tropez. We ordered the octopus, an Orangina, and a pinsa, and everything was enjoyable. The octopus was well prepared and flavorful, while the pinsa had a light, crispy base with fresh toppings. The Orangina was a refreshing addition on a warm day. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to take a break and enjoy a meal in the center of town. The service was friendly and overall we had a pleasant experience. A nice choice if you are looking for a casual lunch in Saint-Tropez.
