Café A sur Paris

A lovely outdoor brunch spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The food is okay, but the prices are high. The service is very good 👏

Excellent welcome, easy adaptation of the menu to dietary restrictions.

We took advantage of May 1st to have brunch on the terrace with a friend. The place is superb and the staff were kind and pleasant, but we were first surprised by the price: €30 for brunch, not €28 as advertised online... So we opted to order à la carte (the brunch special). It was good, but there was a serious problem with the portion sizes... the latte was actually a small cappuccino, and the avocado toast (at over €17, mind you...) was very good but extremely small for a "main course." The price of the desserts (all over €9 for small portions) put us off. It's a real shame because the place is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is good, but honestly, the price-to-quantity ratio is really poor.

The location is still excellent, but I was disappointed with the food and service: not as good as it was a few years ago. A pleasant experience overall, but customer service and the flavors of the dishes need improvement.

I really enjoyed the place. It feels like being in a relaxing and pleasant garden. Time flies by there.

Great find! A small, hidden restaurant next to the Gare de l'Est with a flower-filled terrace. The brunch and service were truly excellent, I highly recommend it.

Nice setting, but poorly run - the staff are a bit useless, the front of house manager is unpleasant and the toilets were covered in urine.

The enclosed dining room is noisy. It's a shame, because it's beautiful. But there's no rug, no curtains, and nothing to dampen the sound of conversations. Yet there are simple, inexpensive, and even stylish solutions. In short, choose to eat on the terrace if you have the option! The manager was curt in his welcome and in his answers to my initial questions. However, when I politely confronted him about this curtness, he didn't admit it but changed his attitude, which, to me, is a sign of intelligence. So, I quickly forgave his initial abruptness. We ended up having coffee in the sun on the terrace, and it was very pleasant. This terrace is charming, quiet, and spacious. Plus, it was empty because they weren't serving outside today, as the weather was rather cool.
