Café Avenue sur Paris

A very nice place for lunch or brunch. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is excellent.

Super cute French cafe with the croque monsieur being the most decadent one I’ve had in Paris! The pain perdu was also good but less sweet than expected. Atmosphere amazing and interior beautifully designed. A must for a late lunch or gouté after a visit to the panthéon!!

I agree with several of the reviews below after trying the café this morning. The place is very beautiful, which is their main selling point. It makes you want to linger. The drinks are reasonably priced and similar to other establishments in the area. However, the prices of the pastries and main courses are completely unjustified. The asparagus/pea/labneh salad was essentially just a green salad... for 18 euros. The bread was quite dry. In short, we felt a bit ripped off, and despite the lovely decor, I don't think I'll be back.

We went there for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful time. The place is lovely, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The beef tartare was excellent, undoubtedly one of the best I've had in a long time. The croque-monsieur was also exceptional, perfectly executed. The French toast was decent, and the coffee was good quality. The service also deserves a mention: courteous, warm, and friendly throughout the meal. A truly great place that I will gladly return to.
