Two great meals with our cycling groups. Delicious brasserie-style dishes with homemade fries at very reasonable prices. Efficient and friendly service. A wide selection of beers. In short, a very enjoyable time spent on the terrace of this restaurant. Go for it!

June 2026 review - After many visits since 2019, today's visit still brought pleasant surprises: a Pyrenean mountain pork chop in its own juices. A delight of taste and flavor.
And the welcome, service, and atmosphere are still just as they were in 1960. The true French tradition of a typical restaurant.
Everything was perfect: authentic and typical food, a setting perfectly in keeping with the location—everything you could hope for to have a great time... And the cherry on top was the waitress's smile.

The reputation of this welcoming and friendly place is well established; whatever the time or day, you're in the right place at the right time, etc...etc... 4 stars because I haven't tried everything yet....
A fantastic discovery during our stay in Froidchapelle! We had delicious food and drinks in a cozy, rustic atmosphere. Very friendly service and local people. We will definitely be back!
