Café brasserie "La Renaissance" sur Libourne

Always excellent, always available, beautiful, consistent, and pleasant work. Tasteful and high-quality. I recommend them.

We live locally and always admired the lovely traditional exterior design of this restaurant. Today we had lunch here for the first time and wished we had tried it before. We both had the three course menu for €20, which was excellent quality and amazingly good value for money. Starters of pot au feu and egg mayonnaise were very good and substantial. Mains of steak, cooked perfectly and guinea fowl, served with green beans and proper home cooked chips, always a good sign and becoming more and more difficult to find. Delicious dessert of tiramisu with an unusual and very tasty twist. I have to say the welcome we received was so nice and the service throughout can't be faulted. There's a good selection of draught beers and the house wine, rosé, was very drinkable. Of particular note my partner had a Pina Colada, that she's still talking about and she definitely knows a thing or two about them.

Brasserie-style with a terrace, offering the option of outdoor dining. The terrace transforms into a heated veranda for cooler weather, very pleasant with a view of a charming gazebo. Set menus start at €18 for lunch and €26 for dinner. Clean premises and welcoming staff. Late service until 11 pm. Tables inside are close together.

Hello, the table was fine, the dish was generous, the only downside would be if you could avoid putting garlic in all the dishes...

A warm welcome. Quality cuisine, right in the heart of Libourne. The best part? Delicious country bread, perfect for dipping your meat!

Good restaurant, pretty good value for money, but some of the products were perhaps a little lacking in quality. However, I recommend this place; I suggest trying the salmon rillettes, which are simply delicious.

Great place! The food is good and it's cozy even in winter. Remember to book in advance; the prices are reasonable with set menus or individual dishes, and there's very little wait despite it being busy... I highly recommend it... thank you
