Cafe Carre sur Nimes

The boss is really nice. The ice creams are super good (not to mention the size of the ice cream balls which are huge.)

We had breakfast at the Carré café, and were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and the manager. The breakfast was simply perfect! The pastries were delicious and of good quality, the bread was fresh and very good, the orange juice was a real pressed orange. What happiness!! We recommend this place!

We arrived in Nimes and we usually check trip advisor to see where we want to go, either for a beer or for breakfast.We stoped here for a beer on a walk.Ignore other reviews which seem to be from a few years ago anyway.The service was the best we received in Nimes apart from a restaurant where good service would be the expectation based on the cost of a meal.The staff are attentive, happy and very observant.The croissants, orange juice and coffee were the best we had experienced in Nime good quality produce.It is in a great location next to the Maison Carrie , perfect for people watching.. They exceeded our expectations and meant that we were able to avoid confusion of where to eat breakfast and get a good beer ..we will be back 😊
