Café Chabert sur Chambery

What more can I say except 10/10? My favorite restaurant in Chambéry, and even anywhere! I recommend it 100%!

I recommend this restaurant, which I rediscovered on the street of my childhood. It has the charm of the old town and is very peaceful.

In a quiet little pedestrian alley, my wife, our two children, and I sat down at a table in the courtyard of Café Chabert. We received a warm welcome, and the service was friendly and efficient. The charming little courtyard offers a peaceful retreat from the pedestrian street, and the children were able to stretch their legs between courses. The food is simple, high-quality, and plentiful.

We had a wonderful experience at Café Chabert: we received a very warm welcome. The ravioli gratin was delicious; I wouldn't have minded a small portion more, it was so good! The homemade crème brûlée was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Despite our slightly late arrival, we were well received and the service was efficient; the food was simple but good.

My son had been wanting to take us to "Chez Christine" for ages, and we finally did! I'm so glad I met her, and we thoroughly enjoyed the "diots polenta" with a delicious sauce. We followed the reviews because we wanted to try some local cuisine. It's a shame it wasn't mentioned anywhere that the polenta contained cheese, because if you don't like cheese, it's hard to find a suitable alternative. It was very good otherwise; we ordered the polenta, Savoyard salad, and ravioli gratin. The service was friendly and quick. Be aware, there's no children's menu, so it's a bit pricey if you have children. The terrace is lovely and very quiet! There's no air conditioning; we ate outside, but in the shade of a walkway.
