Café Chabert sur Chambery

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious; we ordered one of each dish (except the salad). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The sausage melted in our mouths, the polenta was perfectly creamy, the gratin dauphinois was excellent—in short, we were completely charmed. Our compliments to the chef and her server!

Everything is cooked fresh, which explains the wait, but it's well worth it; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The sausage was incredible. Thank you for the meal!

We received a very warm welcome, the service was excellent, and it was calm and cool for eating outside during the heatwave. The portions were generous and the food was high quality! The chocolate fondant was incredibly delicious 😋 They offered a fruit salad for our 3-year-old for dessert, thank you! :)

The oldest café/restaurant in Chambéry, nestled in the cool shade of one of the most charming alleyways in the historic center. The welcome is warm and the food is delicious; we'll definitely be back!

A restaurant on a small pedestrian street. Everything is homemade: dishes and desserts. The ravioli gratin is delicious. A place to discover and share.

We strolled down this charming little street and the (very short) menu caught our eye. We went back for lunch and, I don't know how to describe it, but our taste buds were in heaven! We chose the chicken and chorizo ​​ballotines and the gratinéed ravioli… out of politeness, we didn't lick our plates clean, but that's how delicious it was. But the final touch, where our taste buds truly embraced, was the tarte tatin, fresh from the oven, perfectly sweet and on a very thin puff pastry base… well done, Christine, and thank you to Michelle, our table neighbor and regular, for sharing the history of Chambéry and Savoy with us. And the restaurant itself, too! :)
