CAFE CHARMANT sur Oullins

Superb place: as its name suggests, a charming café! You can enjoy homemade waffles there from 3 pm to 6 pm. I simply opted for a tea (rose jasmine), which was very, very good. A lovely little break in this spot near the Oullins train/metro station. I'll definitely be back to try their food! Charming owners. I've been going to this restaurant since it opened. It's always impeccable. The daily specials are homemade. The service and welcome are pleasant. I'm leaving the area permanently in a few weeks, and I'll miss this great place in Oullins.

A wonderful experience at Café Charmant! We had lunch in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I chose the chicken paupiette, which was perfectly cooked: expertly prepared, with flavorful vegetables and a beautifully balanced jus. My sister opted for an absolutely delicious vegetarian croque-monsieur, generous and bursting with flavor. We finished on a delightful sweet note with a chocolate fondant accompanied by a pecan financier: a true treat for the taste buds. As a pastry chef in a luxury establishment myself, I am particularly attuned to the quality of desserts and the work of the kitchen team. Here, you can feel the genuine expertise, precision, and above all, a great deal of passion. A big thank you to the entire team: kitchen, service, and pastry. I highly recommend this place!

The food was very good! The place and service were pleasant. However, the portions were small for the price. The homemade dessert was delicious.

We received a very warm welcome and the staff were friendly. We stopped for a drink and a break. The decor is nice!

Café Charmant is a place where you feel right at home, the welcome is always warm. The food is amazing; I highly recommend the daily special, whether fish or meat—the chef creates culinary masterpieces! The daily desserts are also worth discovering. Both the chef and pastry chef are highly recommended 😉. The price-quality ratio is very reasonable if you want to treat yourself or someone else 👏👌

Salmon trout served with beets and leeks. Surprising and delicious!!! And for dessert, a chocolate fondant!!! For chocolate lovers, don't hesitate! I highly recommend it!!!
