The food is good and the service is excellent. Their kefta couscous is a delight. The desserts are good too.

A restaurant very close to the port...but in a quiet location. As its name suggests, you can enjoy a delicious meal at a very reasonable price in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone at our table loved the tagines...and I loved the French toast, though it wasn't for everyone! The chocolate mousse was excellent, according to others! The wine was very good and reasonably priced. Go without hesitation!

Dinner and lunch at Les Hédonistes—what can I say? It was a delight from beginning to end. For dinner, we enjoyed a carbonnade, and for lunch, salmon and a tagine, accompanied by zucchini, mashed potatoes, or couscous, preceded by clams or squid with delicate parsley, or salmon rillettes. A small glass of Chinon or Languedoc wine accompanied these succulent dishes. Everything is homemade. The staff is very friendly, and we had the pleasure of chatting with everyone. A must-visit in La Rochelle. Goodbye, and we look forward to seeing you again on our next visit to your lovely city.

While visiting La Rochelle with my girlfriend, we wanted to find a friendly, original, and reasonably priced restaurant. This one absolutely exceeded our expectations, from the peaceful atmosphere and excellent service to the quality of the food. The owners are incredibly pleasant, always smiling, and the ambiance is very cheerful. As for the food, you'll be more than satisfied; not only is there a wide selection, but the quality of the ingredients is also exceptional.
We were absolutely blown away by the outstanding desserts! I highly recommend it.
