A great find. A little set back from the port of La Rochelle, with a peaceful terrace. Superb and very efficient service. The dishes are homemade and the mussels marinière are excellent. Tip: try the Joels as a starter (similar to fried smelts).

The terrace is pleasant because the street is pedestrianized and away from the main thoroughfare!

A lovely little restaurant run by a rugby fan.
The food is good, the portions are perfect, expect to pay between €20 and €30 for a main course, dessert, and a good pint of beer (hey, they even have Hellfest IPA for those in the know).
It's a quiet spot, a bit out of the way from the center, even though it's only a 5-minute walk.
Worth a visit.
