Passing through La Rochelle and drawn in by the name of this establishment, we weren't disappointed. The welcome was excellent, the atmosphere warm, the waiter very friendly, and the food simple, delicious, and unpretentious. The prices were more than reasonable. In short, pure bliss.

Relatively small restaurant with an extensive menu. The staff is friendly and helpful in choosing from the list of dishes and drinks.
I had steak with fries and a nice local beer.
Highly recommended for a nice dinner.
The value for money is excellent!

A truly wonderful discovery! We received a warm welcome upon arrival, with excellent service. Our waiter, Louis I believe, was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
We ordered the pasta with gorgonzola and… wow! 🤤 It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering a second helping. And I have absolutely no regrets! 😂
A fantastic place, both for the food and the service. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

I doubted an app could accurately choose a restaurant. I used an app to count calories from a photo. The French toast with whipped cream was delicious and met my calorie needs. The service was quick and efficient.

A great find. A little set back from the port of La Rochelle, with a peaceful terrace. Superb and very efficient service. The dishes are homemade and the mussels marinière are excellent. Tip: try the Joels as a starter (similar to fried smelts).

The terrace is pleasant because the street is pedestrianized and away from the main thoroughfare!

A lovely little restaurant run by a rugby fan.
The food is good, the portions are perfect, expect to pay between €20 and €30 for a main course, dessert, and a good pint of beer (hey, they even have Hellfest IPA for those in the know).
It's a quiet spot, a bit out of the way from the center, even though it's only a 5-minute walk.
Worth a visit.
