A great find. A little set back from the port of La Rochelle, with a peaceful terrace. Superb and very efficient service. The dishes are homemade and the mussels marinière are excellent. Tip: try the Joels as a starter (similar to fried smelts).

Excellent restaurant! The food is superb, the service very good, and the atmosphere friendly. The dishes are generous, homemade, and high quality. The terrace is pleasant because the street is pedestrianized and away from the main thoroughfare!

A lovely little restaurant run by a rugby fan. The food is good, the portions are perfect, expect to pay between €20 and €30 for a main course, dessert, and a good pint of beer (hey, they even have Hellfest IPA for those in the know). It's a quiet spot, a bit out of the way from the center, even though it's only a 5-minute walk. Worth a visit.
