We had lunch at this little café; the food was very good and the portions were generous. The waitress was very kind and pleasant. We highly recommend it!

We stopped for coffee and dessert. The welcome was very pleasant, and the pastries, especially the cheesecake, were excellent.

A restaurant with a distinctly British flair 🇬🇧 Many reviewers think they're Duchemin after being served in a café... Here's a genuine review of this establishment: The fish and chips are perfectly executed, cooked to perfection! The panko breading is light and golden. Decent fries and a freshly made salad accompany the meal, served with malt vinegar and a small tartar sauce. A must-try. The salads are generous and beautifully presented. The poached eggs are absolutely perfect! I highly recommend it. The desserts are English, simple but probably good. I recommend the cheesecake! Local wines are available, such as Les Silex Blancs (Vendée). Not too expensive by the glass. I had a non-alcoholic Moscow Mule made with Fever-Tree, delicious ❤️ The service is great, and their French is more fluent than most French people speak English 😏 The owners are attentive and helpful. Very well located in relation to the Mélusine Tower. A beautiful terrace at the back of the establishment completes the picture. A very friendly restaurant with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options that will undoubtedly remind you of the best pubs and other eateries across the Channel. Thank you very much.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, just like the resident dog. We arrived a little late, but were greeted with a smile and without any problems. We had an excellent meal, including the famous fish and chips. A wonderful time that we will gladly repeat. Have a great season!

Absolutely incredible! The food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. As Belgians, we were pleasantly surprised by the fries, which were simply excellent and, above all, homemade! Congratulations to the English-speaking owners! :)
