Cafe de France sur Villers-Sur-Mer

Excellent place. We had sea bream served with mashed potatoes and a delicious sauce! The staff was fantastic. Fast service.

We had lunch as a family. We used to eat at our neighbor's, but were disappointed, so we came here and weren't disappointed either. It's certainly a bit more expensive, but it's worth it; we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The staff was excellent, there wasn't much of a wait, and we were able to store all our luggage at the back of the restaurant, with the manager's permission. I thank her again and highly recommend this restaurant.

Aside from the dreadful owner, the menu is good and the smiling, helpful staff saves the day. It's a shame, though; she might scare customers away.

We came as a couple and were disappointed with our meal. The mussels marinière were dry, white, and small, the fries were overcooked, and the €28 ribeye steak consisted of three tiny pieces of reassembled meat, a small corner of the salad, and no fries. The fries arrived 20 minutes after we complained twice, and they were overcooked. 🤷‍♀️ On the other hand, all the wait staff were exemplary, very attentive to the customers, including the owner, who was very friendly and did everything she could to ensure her customers had a good time. However, the owner's behavior needs improvement... he reprimands his staff in front of customers... that's unacceptable. It's a shame, because without them, you might as well close up shop! His behavior needs to be reviewed, and it would be better if he didn't drink beer during service; it would prevent him from breaking dishes in front of customers. 🤷‍♀️

Lovely setting both inside and outside. Food excellent and great for kids as with 2 small children in our company crayons and colouring paper supplied straight away.
