Cafe De L Union sur Laruns

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant overlooking the Laruns town square. We arrived without a reservation, but that wasn't a problem at all. The service was quick and friendly. Thank you for the delicious meal after our hike.

Overall, a good meal at L'Estive. We had a Savoyard fondue which was very good. 🧀 The only downside was the charcuterie board served with it. Given the price of the fondue per person, the amount on the board seemed really small for two people. The portions lacked logic for a couple: 3 slices of chorizo, 3 of sausage, only 1 of coppa... Odd numbers that make sharing impractical and leave a sense of inconsistency with the overall price. It's a shame because the fondue itself was excellent, but an adjustment to the generosity or the way the charcuterie was cut would have been a real plus.

10/10 I arrived late to Laruns with my phone battery running low, and the owner was kind enough to remove a power outlet so I could charge my phone. 100% Recommended

The must-visit restaurant in Laruns. Remarkable, exquisite, and generous cuisine. A warm welcome. I simply love it and am never disappointed.

We had a wonderful meal! A beautiful and delicious sharing platter for two, perfect starters, fresh ingredients, and absolutely perfect main courses. Thank you for the service, and for the after-dinner drinks too. A truly great time... We'll be back!

Wonderful bar restaurant right in the middle of Laruns. We visited on a Friday night without a reservation- although there were tables free the staff were a little overwhelmed and service was correspondingly slow, but the food was worth it. I had one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, and the price was surprisingly good value. I would definitely visit again, but next time I would make a reservation.

We had raclette for dinner (3 people) and the portion was very very generous, it was hard to finish the dinner, the quality was super high and very good price, all the staff were super friendly.

100% for the food, a delight! Unfortunately, the dining room is completely lacking. A 3-hour wait for a main course and dessert. The owner is everywhere and nowhere to be found, and the waitresses don't know what to do. I was asked three times if I wanted dessert, even though I had ordered it 35 minutes earlier... and they brought me dessert while I was still waiting for my main course! A real shame, the service was very disappointing and disjointed. Luckily, the food makes up for it. Thank you to the chef!
