05/07/2026: We made the reservation over the phone, asking if they spoke Spanish. Everything was fine, the crepes were very good, especially the sweet ones. They serve cold water without us having to ask...we did miss having a snack or something to go with the crepes, but everything was great. I had been there a few years ago, and we'll definitely be back. Oh, and they did give us a menu in Spanish, unlike some other reviews I've seen that didn't mention.
17/05/2026: We had a wonderful meal, with very generously filled crepes.
The service was also very pleasant.
I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: The waitress was very friendly, the muffins were excellent, and the pizzas too!
And there was still some bread left when they closed.

08/04/2026: They sell excellent goat cheese made right there in the village of Gavas. A great place to stop for a coffee or a meal. We've been buying cheese there for many years. Highly recommended!
01/01/2026: A very warm welcome, the coffee was excellent, and the sheep's cheese was also very good. The dogs are incredibly friendly and let you pet them without any problem. I'm very glad I stopped by.

21/07/2026: The pizzas are very good, and the location is right in the center of Laruns. The price is reasonable, around €20 for a pizza and a drink. They speak Spanish.
19/07/2026: Excellent thin-crust pizzas and truly well-crafted salads with generous, high-quality toppings make this establishment a must-visit for a meal. Just improve the service and everything will be perfect! Well done!

The owner doesn't smile, no "hello," except for one of the waitresses with a Spanish accent who was incredibly kind – the only positive point of our visit (thank you to her). The food and the atmosphere are simply awful. Furthermore, the prices are excessively high... it's a shame.
14/07/2026: Very disappointing! We hadn't made a reservation, but I don't think we should have stopped there. The waitress was unpleasant; it was like we were bothering her. There's a menu, but you don't have a choice of all the dishes. I advise you to eat quickly, otherwise they'll take your plate away. I'd call the steak tartare "parsley steak" because all you could taste was parsley, and I'm crossing my fingers I don't get sick. Even the salad wasn't fresh! My daughter ordered the children's menu, and the potatoes weren't cooked. I don't understand the Google rating because I find it very high, or maybe I just caught them on a bad day!

23/07/2026: My wife and I ordered two sandwiches, €7.40 each.
We asked if it was possible to get some raw vegetables, and they agreed. We got lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of olive oil.
The final price was €10 per sandwich.
The same sandwiches without olive oil were €7.50 at a higher altitude.
We pointed this out, but apparently it's normal.
The sandwiches were good.
Thankfully!
But they weren't very customer-oriented.
17/07/2026: The only good thing about this place is the view; the food we ordered was absolute garbage.

03/08/2026: 0% recommended. We sat for 45 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. They served tables that arrived later. I went to ask for takeout and they told me I had to wait my turn. Terrible service.
03/08/2026: We had a truly awful experience. We had to wait to be served before even sitting down, as we had to approach the table to ask. After sitting down, 17 minutes passed and no one had come to our table yet. After insisting, they brought the menu, and 23 minutes later, no one had approached our table. When we complained, they told us we had to wait our turn, but excuse us, three tables were seated after us, and two of them already had their food on the table when we got up to ask them to please take our order, as we had a hungry two-year-old with us. They rudely told us we couldn't get takeout, that we could only wait, and in a very impolite way, they asked if we had time.

09/11/2024: Great host who was very accommodating despite the closure of the hostel which was scheduled before our weekend. The restaurant part was closed, but Olivier generously prepared and offered us a little royal meal for my partner and me... Thank you very much!
