A truly authentic restaurant that's well worth a visit! The owner might seem gruff, but that only adds to the charm of the place. The Savoyard fondue was delicious, and the charcuterie was good quality and plentiful. The prices are a bit high, but that's typical for the region. We highly recommend it!

🇫🇷 Nous avons déjeuné several times at the Café de la Chevrerie during a professional trip in the region. Nous avons choisi à chaque fois le plat du jour, avec des prix tout à fait raisonnables. La cuisine est simple, généreuse et sans pretention, avec ce côté agréable d’une bonne cuisine maison. Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de goûter les plats à la carte, donc mon avis concerne principalmente les menus du jour, que nous avons apprècis. The setting is also très agréable : a beautiful, convivial place where you can stop for lunch and take advantage of the landscape and the ambiance of the region. Le service pourrait parfois être un peu plus attentif et fluide, mais cela n’a pas gâché notre expérience générale. Au final, une bonne adresse avec un bon rapport qualité-prix, une cuisine simple et authentique et une atmosphere sympathique. Nous avons passé de bons moments et y sommes revenus avec plaisir pendant notre séjour. Une adresse que je recommande volontiers si vous êtes de passage dans le sector. 🇺🇦 We had lunch at Café de la Chevrerie several times during a business trip to the region. We chose the plat du jour each time. The prices are quite reasonable, and the cuisine is simple, generous, unpretentious, and has a nice home-cooked feel. We didn't try the main menu, so my review is primarily for the plat du jour, which we were pleased with. The place itself is also very nice and beautiful - it's a good place to stop for lunch and enjoy the views and atmosphere of the region at the same time. The service could sometimes be a little more attentive and organized, but that didn't spoil the overall positive impression. Overall, it's a good place with decent value for money, simple authentic cuisine, and a nice atmosphere. We had a good time here and were happy to return again during our stay. I can confidently recommend it if you're in the area.

The blueberry pie is worth the trip.
