Third time in a few years that we have made a detour on our holiday route to come and have lunch on this delicious place in Maussane. Once again we ate very well at the Café de la Fontaine, a superb Provencal lamb navarin for one and a generous Alpilles salad for the other. Friendly service despite the crowds this Saturday lunchtime. Very reasonable price. We will therefore keep this good habit for our next trips!

Terribly disappointing... I've been coming here for a long time, I was there again in May and I was satisfied. But this evening in August 2024 I will remember it. We start with cocktails, honestly I have never tasted such a bland Moscow Mule (although it’s not a complicated cocktail!). We then order the famous mussels from the late Bistrot Marin and a sole meunière (49eur, sorry). Our mussels arrive, the “double crème d’isigny” sauce is completely diluted, completely liquid and the mussels filled with seaweed. Usually we lick the shells filled with cream... in short, I recommend that you do not sell the mussels when you are offered poor quality or when you do not have enough cream. It is better to have nothing than to have what you have served us. For the sole meunière, well clearly the cook doesn't know his basics. It was sole but absolutely not prepared in a miller way, impossible that there was an ounce of flour in the recipe. In short, big disappointment, big addition (we clearly indicated our dissatisfaction to the waiter, who recognized that the mussel sauce was too liquid but no commercial gesture) in short, we won't be coming back.

Very nice cafe. .we are very well received there. ..... I haven't been there for years. Always the same quality, I really like stopping there when I'm in the region (August 2024).

A sensational place to relax. Many guests who contribute to the ambience. For example, the philosopher and his Labrador or the Baron's wife. The boss (I think it's the boss) in this café is a stunner. Fast as the speed of light. Friendly as the sun in August, great. In addition, she looks good enough to eat. My visits to this cafe were one of the best highlights in Provence. You have to go there.

Always at the top, several visits each year out of season or in season...a big thank you for the service because the customers are not always friendly with the staff...

Newly taken over, this café is reborn from its ashes! I can only advise you! Careful service.

Siamo stati due vuole al Grand Caffè de La Fontaine, una prima volta per colazione, ed abbiamo mangiato uno squisito Pan Au Chocolat portato da una ragazza garbata e professionale, ed una seconda volta a cena, mangiano un buon risotto ai gamberi servito però da un cameriere sbrigativo, sgarbato e che ascoltava molto poco. Cibo comunque buono e prezzi nella media.
