The restaurant is very nice and, what's more, recommended by Bison Futé 2025. The food is very good and the setting is lovely. I really liked the humorous chalkboards hanging on the walls all around. You can go there without hesitation.

We were very disappointed with the grilled prawns! Instead, we were served large, dried-out shrimp! The shells were blackened and tasted burnt, and the flesh had the same unpleasant taste. The trout with almonds wasn't much better... the butter barely touched the pan. It's a shame, as we've eaten very well there in the past.

“We dined at your restaurant for the first time last night: a very pleasant surprise! We told the waiter we were in a bit of a hurry because we were going to see a play at 8:30 pm. He did everything he could, and thanks to him, we arrived on time. We will gladly come back to enjoy it a little longer.”

For the first time after several visits, we were somewhat disappointed by the food: lack of parsley on the duck hearts, sweetbreads with morels with only one small morel and little aroma, and finally, the portion of tricandilles (the dish we frequent this restaurant for) was largely reduced by half!!!
Huge disappointment

Several years ago, before leaving the Entre-Deux-Mers region,
I walked past it countless times without paying it any attention.
When I returned to the region, some family members and I decided to go to a restaurant on a whim.
It was the first few weeks after restaurants reopened after the quarantine ended.
And some restaurants we called before this one
didn't want to serve us because we hadn't booked earlier...
But this one did their best to provide us with a table for several people on the covered terrace.
We ate well, and were pleasantly surprised by the homemade hamburger.
Fresh, local produce.
Red meat from Bazadais in the hamburger.
We had a good laugh, even too much 😇
The server gave us good advice.
The service was perfect, fast, and with a smile.
And to finish, the homemade rum was offered at the counter when we paid the bill.
I'll be back!
Edit: I've been back several times and it's always just as good, the products are fresh and of high quality.
