We only go there for the decor, but the staff is still very pleasant. The food is okay, but that's not necessarily why we go there.

There are places that quietly accompany a life… The Café de la Paix, on Place de Verdun, is part of my story. I knew it from a very young age. It's one of those silent landmarks, present without ever being intrusive. Right next door was the cinema where I went with my brother and my parents… And after the film, or sometimes before, this café was there. Like a gentle continuation. A simple extension of shared moments. What I love here, beyond the place itself, is the welcome. A genuine kindness, never forced. And that light humor that feels good, that connects. Sitting on the terrace, watching life go by in the square… Simply taking the time. The Café de la Paix isn't just a café. It's a piece of memory. A place where something within us immediately feels at home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reminds me of Caffè Roma in Milan. Good coffee. Competent and friendly service. I recommend it.

Same as always, the only downside is that the Olympia is no longer there, otherwise still as beautiful
