Café de la Place sur Callac

We had lunch on Wednesday- market day in Callac - recommend you book a table. Very good oysters and all the other courses well made and tasty. Madame and her daughter serving were very good. Proper French food and very good value.

For a brasserie, this one is very interesting. Friendliness and simplicity best describe the establishment. The owners, Sophie and Margot (Margaux?), were incredibly kind! There's a good selection. It's all local. We appreciate its simplicity. For me, it could have used a little more quantity. But the value for money is excellent.

Lunch with friends on a Sunday. A great place that I recommend. The meal is a set menu (starter, main course, dessert) with three choices for starters and main courses, and two for dessert. Homemade cuisine using seasonal produce. The restaurant was full on this Sunday lunchtime, but the service remained efficient and friendly.

Family-run restaurant, €20 set menu with fresh, high-quality ingredients! Excellent oysters, very fresh and delicious avocado, shrimp, and grapefruit salad. A real gem! The sea bass fillet was perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh, served with a zucchini and tomato flan just like homemade. The welcome and service were very warm. I sincerely recommend it.

Friendly staff, fast service...

We just had lunch at this small restaurant and it's excellent value for money. The set menus at €16 or €20 are simple but generous. The service was very pleasant.

A warm and genuine welcome, absolutely delicious food – a wonderful discovery at a very reasonable price (aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and coffee for two for under €60 to fully enjoy a meal). Thank you for this lovely time!
