Cafe De La Place sur Saint-Georges-De-Didonne

I left their place and I was still hungry. All the specialty dishes come with alcohol. I ate a chicken fillet instead of mussels.

We were surprised by the negative reviews of this restaurant. We went there several times during our stay in Saint Georges de Didonne and were very satisfied with both the food and the service. Our 5-year-old son (the little boy with the lollipop, a fan of grenadine and chocolate ice cream 😉) loved it. See you next summer! 😊

Excellent welcome, the staff were truly professional, always smiling and attentive. The meal was excellent, thank you to the chefs! I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back 😉

The café is well located, the servers are friendly, and the virgin colada is excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. A really nice spot to eat or even just have a coffee in the morning. There's even a concert in the square from time to time.

I'm surprised by the reviews, but everyone has their own personal experience, and I'm not here to question that. So, we're just sharing our feedback over a drink and an ice cream today. The service was quick despite the crowd and the heat. The Pelican ice cream was generous, and the freshly squeezed lemon was perfect for this warm weather! The person who served us (a young man with long hair) was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind, and we applaud his composure when faced with a dreadful retired couple who left without paying after yelling "Ice cubes!!" Furthermore, the woman slightly bumped into me when I arrived (I was seated, and there was plenty of room for her). They didn't wait long! These people are shameful despite their airs and graces.
