A no-nonsense, working-class restaurant. Like in roadside diners, starters and desserts are self-service. The fish on Friday was cooked perfectly and the beurre blanc sauce was delicious. Efficient service, the cheeses on the platter were well-aged, and the bill was reasonable. I recommend it.
