I think it's one of the best places in Nantes, the food is always delicious, the coffees are great, the welcome is super and the view is wonderful, I recommend it!

While visiting the Café de l’Orangerie in Nantes’ Jardin des Plantes, I wanted to enjoy a hot chocolate on a beautiful sunny day. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as delicious as I’d hoped, which was a bit disappointing, especially since the wait to be served was quite long.
That said, the place is still very pleasant. The location in the heart of the garden is truly lovely, and the green color chosen for the café’s paint blends perfectly with the lush greenery.
With the return of good weather to Nantes, it’s still a pleasant place to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Hopefully, the hot chocolate will live up to expectations next time!

An extremely pleasant spot, located right in the heart of the Jardin des Plantes. Its terrace is one of the most enjoyable places in Nantes to have lunch in the sun or under the shade of a parasol. The dishes are always homemade with fresh ingredients, and vegetarian options are always available. In the afternoon, you can simply have tea, coffee, or a drink. The service is always friendly, which is also a definite plus.

A lovely building with a terrace overlooking the park. A pleasant place to have a drink or tea with pastries. A few dishes are also offered on the daily specials board.

It was for coffee, but I'd love to come back for lunch because the aromas were so tempting. The tables overlooking the park must be lovely for lunch.

Beautiful setting, really very good food (but a 19 euro dish without starch, so still a bit thin afterwards), but a very unpleasant and haughty waiter, bringing things according to his own whim.

A very pleasant place that was spoiled for me by the perhaps unintentional welcome from the woman who checked me in twice.
Remaining humble and not looking down on people is a way of life that isn't given to everyone, even in the right circles.
