I ordered the butcher's cut.
It was good, the fries were delicious, the meat was cooked exactly as I asked, even the salad was nice.
And it was incredibly generous.
All for €18.
Drinks are under €3.
I'll go back whenever I can.
Excellent restaurant, never disappointed by the welcome from the owner, from the starter to the dessert a treat, family and hearty cuisine to be repeated indefinitely at the top! It is rare to find a restaurant of this quality in the hinterland here in l'Escarene you have it ☺️

The welcome is friendly, the dishes are generous, the prices very reasonable, and the plates are well-filled. I am never disappointed. I recommend this restaurant for a pleasant, friendly time.
12/08/2024: Relatively pleasant welcome with good explanations on how the bivouac works around the lodge. Pitches for tents are quite limited, be careful not to arrive too late. The outdoor solar shower is very pleasant, you can use the restaurant tables to cook yourself.
However, the prices are quite high for a lodge which can be supplied very easily by road, the sandwiches are expensive, moderately good and very small...
27/06/2024: Very nice home.
The meal was good and the owner very attentive. The room smelled a little damp but the good advice and service quickly made us forget this detail.
Perfectly located on the GR 52.
