Cafe des Arts sur Puimoisson

Passing through the area, I stopped in hoping to grab a steak and fries... but not at all! A complete meal for under €30, quality ingredients, and excellent execution in both the kitchen and the service! A real stroke of luck, but it was fantastic!

Charming and pleasant "Café des Arts," located in Puimoisson, where I had most of my breakfasts for about ten days (but you have to bring your own croissants... there's a small grocery store nearby, still on the square 😉). Clean and welcoming place. For dinner, you need to book, and the menu is worth the trip: delicious dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and "good taste." A downside was the waitress who didn't know the ingredients of an Americano (she served a Negroni instead 🥴) and the people who smoke and turn away so as not to fill their own table with smoke (not considerate of the other tables)...

Everything was perfect: a warm welcome, professional yet unpretentious service, flavorful cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, even the historic dining room was inspiring... In addition to the daily specials, the menu offered three appetizers, three main courses, and three desserts, all delicious and very reasonably priced. It was such a wonderful discovery that we returned the very next day, the last day of our vacation. Thank you and all the best.

Second visit to this restaurant and just as good as the first. Beautifully presented, colorful, and very flavorful dishes. Everything is homemade, even the desserts, which are original and delicious. We will definitely be back. Reservations are highly recommended.
