A very nice restaurant, a great welcome, and dishes that were a welcome change from the usual fare. We had lunch inside, which felt like a rotunda, with a breathtaking view of the beach. We highly recommend it; it's really lovely.

The mussels were excellent, the service perfect, 4 stars because the toilets weren't very clean, and there was no soap either, which is a shame.

You're on the Côte de Beauté and looking for a delicious, varied meal that blends tradition with a few surprises, all in a seaside setting: discover "LE CAFÉ DES BAINS" in Saint Georges de Didonne. Here, with your feet in the sand, on the open or covered terrace, or inside, the choice starts here, and the surprises begin. Not too hungry? Why not have breakfast... at noon? This already hints at what awaits you if you opt for the restaurant and its menu. It certainly requires a budget, but at least it's a welcome change from the ordinary. The dessert menu is too tempting, and forget about a light appetite: just take the homemade chocolate Profiterolles, for example, as it's quite generous. And what about the sundaes? Just like everything else, the quality and expertise demonstrate a motivated team, not to mention the touch of Charente humor. Knowing how difficult these restaurant jobs are, it's truly appreciated. We had a good time there; while this testimony is very subjective, it's sincere, coming from people with a less-than-happy past who know how to appreciate the (all too rare) good moments. If the team has adapted to the new constraints, they're holding up well and deserve it. Thank you to them.

Lovely setting, pleasant restaurant, very welcoming, peaceful and serene atmosphere, and above all, a top-notch waiter: professional, attentive to his job, and genuine. We'll be back; the dishes offered were excellent and generous.
