The food is good, but the staff? Apart from the lady who is friendly, there's one who shouts at a member of staff. Very unprofessional. What shocked me most was when I asked to take my unfinished meal to go and was met with the response, "What do you mean, takeout?" When I pointed to my dish and said "takeout," the man replied dismissively, "If it pleases you, listen." I've never dealt with a waiter like that. As if you'd never been asked for takeout before. In short, change professions. When you hear you speak to some of the staff, it really puts you off. I feel sorry for them.

We arrived without a reservation at lunchtime, a table for 7.
We received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, and the waiter was very cheerful. The dishes were generous and delicious. No regrets.

We received a very warm and polite welcome for lunch. Despite it being a rainy weekday, it was quite busy. Given the close proximity of the tables, the staff ensured that customers were spaced out for their comfort. The service was efficient, and there was little wait for our food. I tried the full Welsh rarebit served in a casserole dish, which was very good, light, and flavorful. My partner chose a rump steak, which was cooked to perfection, just as he requested. Not to mention the excellent homemade fries, all at a reasonable price. It's a shame you didn't include the Welsh rarebit on the menu displayed outside, especially since your prices are very competitive. A good dining experience overall.
