I've been eating at Café du Centre in Maubourguet since 2018, and it's become a go-to spot for me. As a chef, when I have a day off and go to a restaurant, I look for something simple: homemade food, fresh ingredients, and truly delicious cuisine. This is exactly what you'll find here. Generous, perfectly executed local cuisine in a warm, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Mélanie, the owner, and her entire team are always welcoming, efficient, and very friendly. You feel at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Recently, the cuisine has taken another step forward with the arrival of two young, creative chefs, one English and the other Italian. There's a wonderful energy in the kitchen, and the dishes are even more interesting. Café du Centre isn't just a restaurant. It's also a lively bar, with concerts, themed evenings, and a real village atmosphere. The breakfasts are excellent—fresh homemade juice, perfectly scrambled eggs, the perfect way to start the day. The terrace is lovely when the weather is nice, and there's also an upstairs dining room. They also host groups, parties, rugby teams after matches, and even weddings. It's a fantastic place to spend a pleasant time and, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Maubourguet and for miles around. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
