Café du Château sur Anet

We've been there several times, the food was very good and the owner was very welcoming, we'll be back.

Lunch break during the week with my wife, while hiking in the Dreux forest. The food is good, the service is quick and friendly, and there's a brasserie atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. It's a great place for a lunch break!

I've been to Anet twice. Both times I ate at this restaurant and it was delicious. The cook I saw must be very experienced because what she made was absolutely delicious. In any case, if I go back to Anet, I'll definitely return to this restaurant.

We walked in without a reservation and the owner found us a small table. Thank you for your warm welcome and smiles, and on top of that, we had a fantastic meal. Next time we'll definitely make a reservation.

We were very well received despite the crowd; he managed to find us a table for four despite everything. The food was excellent. The owner was super friendly. I highly recommend it.

I'm leaving out the fifth star for the food, which I haven't had a chance to try yet, but the steak frites with mushroom sauce whetted my appetite this weekend. I stuck to coffee and the PMU (betting shop), and it was really great. These bars/brasseries/PMUs should be listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage! Unfortunately, they tend to disappear in favor of cold, phony concepts. Strong support to the Café du Château.

Excellent little brasserie. Quality cuisine, efficient and friendly service. Very good value for money.
