A very good experience during dinner with quick and friendly service, a delicious meal, and a wonderful time. Coming from Bordeaux, during our stay at Thalacap, a thalassotherapy center located 5 minutes from this restaurant opposite the port of Ars-en-Ré, I highly recommend this place.

Even though I know it's good and the service is perfect, I still manage to be surprised. I particularly recommend the bruschetta and the homemade guacamole.

A setting steeped in history with a real soul. A warm welcome and generous, flavorful dishes at a very reasonable price. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Remember to book your table to discover this magnificent place. I will definitely return.

The dining experience was excellent, but it was very unpleasant when our server swept the floor right next to us at 10 pm while we were eating our desserts. For €140 for five people, we deserved more consideration and not to feel rushed out.

The setting is nice but the service is very slow and I do not recommend the pastrami; it really has nothing to do with the pastrami you can eat in the USA.

We had a very pleasant time at the Café du Commerce during our dinner break. The friendliness of our hosts and the charm of the place made it truly special. The food was excellent.

25/04/2026: Perfect bar for a drink and a snack by the sea. The setting is lovely. Be aware that it can get very crowded. A young waiter was very pleasant and friendly, and he kindly attended to our needs! The owner/waitress is nonchalant and kicked out customers who were seated at a table because they were "just having a drink" and weren't there for dinner. A bit much... We recommend it for drinks and snacks. There's a good atmosphere, and the sea adds to the charm! Sincerely
