13/09/2026: A fantastic experience! What a pleasure to find a true Italian chef on Île de Ré. With an Italian menu to complete the ambiance! We went for lunch with our son, and the dishes were so delicious that we had to return before the end of our vacation. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the quality of the food and wines, and the chef's friendliness. And for those who complain about the prices, unfortunately, on Île de Ré, given the overhead costs, it's certainly impossible to do otherwise. Prices are high all over the island. And for Italian wine, buy it online; you'll certainly pay less, but you won't have the chef's advice or this wonderful setting to savor it with a good meal. A huge thank you again, Chef, to you and your team!

The appetizer was a fantastic prawn tartare, followed by sweetbreads in a superb mushroom sauce.
Wonderful atmosphere right on the church square with very friendly staff.
We'll definitely be back! 👍

05/06/2026: A two-night stay at this very well-located hotel, perfect for exploring the area, as we did, partly using bicycles rented on-site.
The welcome and service were top-notch, thank you!
We appreciated the convenient on-site parking and the overall tranquility. There's a swimming pool if you'd like to stay in the hotel.
Breakfast was very good.
I highly recommend it.
25/05/2026: A beautiful, well-maintained garden. A few minor issues in the rooms (no light in the bathroom, toilet paper holder poorly attached, wall lights not working). We apologized when you explained that you had just taken over the property. The restaurant offered excellent food. The welcome was very friendly.

09/09/2026: stopped by for coffee and croissants. Good call. Friendly waiter, pleasant location
03/08/2026: We were looking forward to stopping at this restaurant during a bike ride. We simply asked for a table for three, without a reservation. The welcome was cold, the tone haughty, and we were nonchalantly informed that it was impossible because "it's Monday" and the restaurant would be fully booked for the next two weeks.
The most surprising thing happened a few moments later: a group of four English tourists also arrived without a reservation and were immediately taken care of by the same gentleman, who quickly found a solution for them.
It's hard not to feel that some customers are treated better than others. If you don't want to welcome people without reservations, at least apply the same rule to everyone and treat your customers with a minimum of respect.
In the end, this bad experience led us to discover another restaurant, where the welcome was warm and professional. Thank you for that.

03/06/2026: We spent two nights and three days there and left feeling incredibly relaxed. The welcome was very friendly and courteous, the atmosphere was calm and very restful, our room was spacious and clean with a view of the phoenixes in the large garden and the pool, the beds were very comfortable, we really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the thalassotherapy treatments were excellent, and the restaurant was great too. Go for it, you won't be disappointed! 💣💯
02/06/2026: The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The service was good, but there weren't enough time slots for some wellness treatments.

25/05/2026: This review applies to the restaurant only. The service was unfriendly, and the quality was very questionable. Be prepared to wait, especially at the start of peak season, as we waited almost half an hour for a carafe of water (in 34-degree heat, that's really pushing it) and a burger that wasn't cooked properly. Our food was lukewarm, and judging by the burger bun and the frozen fries, which were as hard as a rock, you have to wonder if the plates hadn't cooled down somewhere before reaching our table... I want to emphasize the desperately long wait; our neighbors had to help themselves to salt from another table that hadn't been cleared yet. We even shared our sauces with them because they were forgotten. The only good point is that the portions weren't too large or too small, but overall it's really very average, and the numerous Routard awards it has received in the past don't guarantee the current quality.

03/08/2024: Un accueil chaleureux, une attention au bon déroulement du repas et de bons petits plats. Pour nous, une première découverte: couteau en persillade en entrée, suivie de sardines grillées pour l'une, de mouclade ou de risotto pour les autres. Nous avons aussi découvert un bon petit vin local.
C'est un restaurant chaleureux, simple et efficace.
14/06/2024: Endroit très agréable, terrasse ombragée. Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille. Des plats faits maison à des prix corrects. Propriétaires et personnels charmants. Très convivial. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à l'occasion d'un autre séjour.
