A truly delightful place. Nathalie and Amandine are lovely, sincere, genuine, and very professional. It's truly a wonderful place to settle in for a pleasant meal. The lunch is excellent. A quick meal at St Andre de l'Eure, and a very nice establishment. The owner is all smiles, really very welcoming. The decor is nice, with some background music. And the meal... nothing to say, it's very good, with a choice of starters, the butcher's cut was extra tender, and homemade fries. In short, don't hesitate to stop by this address if you want to eat in the area. I highly recommend it! Long live your establishment.

If you really want to experience that French feeling and you're in the area, you should definitely go here. We had another delicious lunch today. The very friendly lady (I think she was the owner) recognized us from last time and did her best to speak English with us. It was wonderful to sit outside among the French people. And the menu? Not a complicated menu, just a simple chalkboard, clear and well-organized. In short, it deserves a solid 5 stars. The service, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. (The photos are from May 2023, by the way, as we've been coming here for a while now and often.)

04/02/2026: I'm rereading my review from 9 years ago, which shows I'm a regular, so naturally objective, otherwise I wouldn't be a regular. I stand by everything; I'm still a fan of the steak tartare, imaginatively prepared by Jean, the chef, and served by his delightful wife, Claire. But today I succumbed to a succulent, melt-in-your-mouth Angus beef and was blown away by the steamed julienned seasonal vegetables—pure perfection. Light, actually 😊 "Warm welcome, lovely setting, good traditional cuisine that's more than generous. Not everyone finishes the steak tartare, but it's worth the trip. Reasonable daily specials, also generous. It's tasty, but don't expect anything too 'light' :)"
