When you walk in to the bistro it's like going back in time to the '40's era! Jean-Charles the owner and server is the most amiable and friendly! So accommodating and knowledgeable. I will go back! and I am from Canada...

Superb place, warm welcome and great atmosphere

This is a really unique place, with jazz bar vibe, lots of interesting decorations and perfect music! Food is delicious, people are friendly and open - this is definitely not about a food to eat, but experience to have :) Visited this place by chance but this will be one of the most memorable moments here in Caen ❤️

always perfect atmosphere, adorable boss. varied and good quality lunch meals. the exterior appearance may not attract the eye, so you have to go inside (remember to book because it is not very big and there are often people).

The palace bistro is a really nice place, with a cozy atmosphere and a very warm welcome. We eat well and drink well there. I recommend 100%. The vintage decoration is great and the owner and waiter are top notch. We really had a good time

Atypical restaurant We entered there by chance and we were surprised by the place with an atypical decor, it felt like a museum. Very nice owner as well as the waiters. It is best to reserve for lunch as it is very popular. I recommend. Unmissable place 💕💕
