Cafe du Port sur Honfleur

Great find in Honfleur, tucked away in a quiet side street that feels less touristy than the main harbor area. The staff were very welcoming and kind. We had moules-frites, fish and chips, and the pêche du jour (dorade), all excellent and well prepared. A perfect stop before strolling through Honfleur. Definitely worth the visit.

Drawn in by the menu's presentation, we walked through the door of this restaurant. Don't be fooled, it's definitely a restaurant. Don't let the name fool you. I had a wonderful evening. The dishes are excellent, everything is homemade. Top-quality ingredients are used and prepared to perfection. A feast for the eyes and the palate. A perfect egg that lives up to its name, a perfectly cooked ribeye steak, and very flavorful fries. As for the roasted apple with walnut crumble and salted caramel, it was the perfect ending to the meal. Not too sweet, not too bitter. The apple and its accompaniment made for a perfect meal. I had the pleasure of chatting with the chef and the waiter. A duo who are incredibly dedicated and passionate about their work. This establishment is well worth a visit. You won't be disappointed. Everything is excellent. I'll definitely be back.

A wonderful family meal! We had lunch as a family of four, including two young children, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The welcome was particularly warm, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout the meal. This is so appreciated when you're dining with young children. A truly lovely place where you feel right at home, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely be back. Incidentally, it's ideally located on a quiet street in Honfleur.

A truly wonderful restaurant in Honfleur. The home-style cooking was generous, both in the quantity of the portions and in the quality of the dishes and ingredients used. The service was impeccable and friendly; thank you so much for your warm welcome and smiles. We will be back!

Excellent cuisine (we recommend the mussels) with very good value for money. The quality of service was also very much appreciated, with attentive and highly competent staff.

Excellent dinner, they were kind enough to give us a child's portion. On a very characteristic pedestrian street, it's nice to eat at the outdoor tables.

Discovered by chance while looking for a restaurant. Very welcoming, dog-friendly, and excellent traditional cuisine (the bouchot mussels and cider apple ice cream were superb). I highly recommend it because the prices are very reasonable for Honfleur, especially considering the quality.

We had the mussels in cream sauce, they were excellent, the cream was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was perfect, friendly, and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

We received a very warm welcome and were immediately made comfortable for ourselves and our 3-year-old daughter. A special menu was even offered for her! The meals were excellent. I'm giving it 4 stars because we hadn't realized the vegetable plate was an extra charge! Apart from this minor drawback, it's a place we highly recommend if you're visiting Honfleur!
