Cafe Face sur Saint-Cast-Le-Guildo

A mixed experience. The place and the food are very good (except for the bread, which is truly awful). A major drawback was the service: we ordered a mixed platter, but were first brought a salmon platter by mistake, then a platter of only charcuterie… we waited a long time, and when our order finally arrived, our plates weren't cleared and we had to wait even longer to eat. The state of the restrooms also leaves much to be desired.

The five of us dined here tonight. It was incredibly busy, and the staff were literally running around. Yet, we got a table right away (a bit of luck, I guess). The menu looked good. The location, atmosphere, music, and ambiance were also excellent. And despite the crowds, the service was relatively quick, and they still spoke to us well in somewhat broken English. Drinks finished, and the Chablis was excellent, especially for the price. Then came the food. We had two entrecotes that looked more like rib-eye steaks, but were cooked perfectly. The tarragon sauce with it was a bit strong, but okay. We also had mussels and cream; I loved them, my wife found them a bit greasy, but then you have to order them plain. My son had a horse burger, which was only called that because of the egg on top? I didn't quite understand that. But we had a wonderful evening and a delicious meal for a great price. If you're looking for something to complain about, you'll always find something (don't go to the bathroom there, for example, haha). But that's just nitpicking. Fast, good food at a reasonable price, helpful and friendly team

Regulars for years, Nathalie has always been very nice to us, congratulations also to Karl for his welcome, his availability, his good humor and his professionalism.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the servers are attentive and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

We had dinner this evening with mussels and shepherd's cheese, which were really great both in terms of quality and quality. The staff were very welcoming and smiling, top notch. Patricia

So, the food was good. The service wasn't slow. The only downside was the waiter with the glasses (LV) who was really unpleasant. Honestly, he had a face you just want to slap. He thinks he's Brad Pitt 🤣🤣 The rest was perfect!

We had a great time with a superb view of the port of St Cast. The meal was plentiful and very good. The service was excellent, the staff very pleasant. I recommend it 100%.

A safe bet and a very pleasant setting.
