If the waiter repeatedly pretends not to understand the phrase "water carafe," insist... it's just to push you to buy drinks. I almost contacted the DGCCRF (French consumer protection agency). The waiter probably thought I was a tourist who had just arrived, since the restaurant is right outside the Gare du Nord train station.

Since we had such fond memories of last year's visit, we went back to Café Foresta for dinner this year. We were especially happy to see Carlos again, who was incredibly friendly last year. Therefore: highly recommended!

We loved it! They have a luggage storage service that works perfectly. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Right next to Gare du Nord.

A very pleasant establishment, a real breath of fresh air after a bad experience at a nearby café. The service was absolutely impeccable, the staff very friendly, the place welcoming, they serve delicious coffee and a perfectly adequate breakfast. I will gladly return!

30/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by accident. While in Paris, we wanted to try some French cuisine, but the restaurant across the street was on break and we weren't served. We saw Da Piero nearby and decided to stop by, and we don't regret it: the lady was lovely, the food was fantastic – the dumplings with truffle sauce were AMAZING, the lasagna was also delicious, and a glass of wine put us in a fantastic mood despite the rainy weather. We highly recommend it, and if we're ever in Paris again, we'll definitely visit this place.
