It was okay, but nothing special. The tempura shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp. Dry rice. Served without soy sauce or vegetables.

Japanese cuisine was a revelation for me! And I'm so glad it was Café Japonais that gave me this experience 🇯🇵. The dishes were both delicious and generous, the staff attentive and very helpful, and the atmosphere, after wandering the streets of Bordeaux, was a haven of peace. Of course, I'll have to come back; there's still so much to discover on the menu 😋. Thank you 🙏

While passing through Bordeaux, we stopped at this Japanese restaurant. It was very busy, but we managed to reserve a table for 9 pm. We ordered several different dishes to try them out. Everything was very good and expertly prepared. The maki rolls were wonderfully fresh. The iced tea was delicious. The waitresses were very welcoming and friendly.
