Yes, it's very good! But when I ask to pay with a restaurant voucher card, the person says yes, only to then do something to make it not work… it's totally ridiculous… and tells me it's my card that's malfunctioning, even though 10 minutes later I paid for ice cream with it… Okay, but not very honest!

We were quite disappointed with the desserts. The brownie wasn't really a brownie, for example. The fried chicken had no flavor. It's a shame because the service was great.

We went to the Japanese Café in Bordeaux late in the evening, and it was so nice to find a restaurant that didn't close too early. The menu offers a wide selection of very varied dishes, each more tempting than the last, with very reasonable prices. The service was excellent: the waiters and waitresses were lovely, attentive to the customers' well-being, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu. They gave very good advice, which was much appreciated. The service was also quick. The terrace overlooking the street, just steps from Sainte-Catherine, is very pleasant in the spring when the warmer weather starts to arrive. I tried the Yaki Ika Bento with grilled squid: a flavorful, generous, and very well-prepared dish. The ingredients seemed fresh, the cooking was perfect, and the flavors were authentic. The plate was beautifully presented. Considering the quality of the food, the service, and the location, the value for money is excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

Simply the only restaurant in Bordeaux where you can truly eat like in Japan. A must-try!

Excellent Japanese restaurant in Bordeaux, very fast, with friendly, pleasant, helpful, and professional service. The menu isn't very varied (for example, California rolls only come in one salmon variety), but the quality of the food is excellent, whether it's sushi or hot dishes. The fish is super fresh, the rice is very good, I highly recommend it! Thank you to Café Japonais!
