A lovely café with a Parisian feel, well-located and quiet, with a young and welcoming team. One drawback, however, which might irritate some, is the inconsistency of the service, particularly when paying the bill at the counter. You're left hanging, at the discretion of the cashier, depending on who's busy. Be prepared to wait patiently if the manager is engaged in a PR conversation or occupied with something else.

Excellent. A lovely new (restored) neighborhood spot with great potential. The decor is very well done, tasteful, and high-quality. The service is a bit slow and not always efficient, but it's still finding its feet. The drinks are good, but the tapas menu needs improvement in both quantity and quality. Let's give the food a chance; I'm sure it will be a success in the neighborhood. We've been missing this.

I recently came since the reopening and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised! The new team is fantastic: a lovely group of siblings, always smiling and with a real sense of hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the food… delicious! In short, I know this city like the back of my hand, and in my opinion, this new Café Kléber is now one of those must-visit spots if you're ever in Nantes. Just so you know.

26/07/2026: We loved our dinner at this charming restaurant. The service was quick, warm, and friendly. The dishes are homemade using fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! They also gave excellent wine recommendations. Note that there are only two dishes on the menu, so be sure to inquire beforehand if you have any dietary restrictions. The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat high price and the rather small cheese platter. I highly recommend this restaurant!
