Inexpensive takeaway ice cream (2 euros a scoop) with a variety of flavors (chestnut, for example!), super tasty, served in a waffle-shaped cup. The servers were super friendly.

Once we arrived in Giens in the early afternoon, we decided to sit down at the terrace of this charming café located near the church on a square shaded by plane trees.
It was too late for a full meal, but we could have a snack.
One of the café's strengths is that it serves snacks at all hours. On the recommendation of the friendly young waitress, I chose a salmon and avocado tartine with salad.
To cool off further, we ordered a delicious ice cream sundae.

I was a regular customer this week, mainly to watch the football matches with a pint of beer or a refreshing ice cream. I met a very friendly local clientele. Donovan, Fabio, and the rest of the team took excellent care of me. Thank you for your hospitality. See you soon.

The waiter was very friendly and attentive, paying close attention to each table.
Given the temperatures, lunch was decidedly cool. The salmon poke bowl and warm goat cheese salad were quite good, but a tad pricey.
