Cafe le Girou sur Giroussens

A very pleasant surprise at this lovely bar, whose terrace overlooks the Tarn River. The menu is brasserie-style, simple but with generous portions and quality ingredients. The ham hock is easily on par with Grandma's! The croque monsieur is very generous. The salad dressing beats any store-bought version with its homemade taste. The portion of homemade fries is also substantial. My only regret was not having time to try the churros offered for dessert, but no matter, we'll take more time to enjoy everything on our next visit! Warm welcome and quick service.
